Roof ventilation is effective in cold climatic areas and as a system for minimum and intermediate ventilation in continental climates in case of severe winters (VIDEO). Roof inlets extract the air coming from air inlets installed in the side walls. The incoming fresh air comes in contact with the animals, oxygenates the environment, removes the ammonia and carbon dioxide producing positive effects on the poultry.
